Visit the town of Hoi An (Vietnam) aftermath of severe flooding and storm

Two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I visited Hoi An after it went through the worst storm in Central Coast Vietnam in history. We talked over canceling the trip and transferred the trip into a Staycation in our city. But I personally feel drained from being in Saigon and not traveling out of it for the past 5 months, so I just remained firm on the trip out of impulse.

My uncles, my parents, and everyone around me talked me out of the trip. But my stubbornness said the opposite. Plus, my boyfriend was also on my side. Having all of our data points on the circumstances in Hoi An and Da Nang, the sights of devastated and chain-closing of almost popular sites were real. Therefore, we didn’t program a hectic schedule into our trip. Instead, it was just very relaxing.
